Collection, processing and use of personal data

The legal basis for collecting, saving and processing personal data is in particular laid down in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). Personal data is information relating to identified or identifiable natural persons (Art. 4 Par. 1 GDPR). This includes, in particular, names, address data, phone numbers or e-mail addresses but also information regarding preferences, memberships or previously accessed websites.

If you establish contact with us (e.g. via e-mail), your submitted data will be stored for processing your request and possible follow-up questions. The legal basis for processing your data is the necessity to steps prior to entering into a contract according to Art. 6 Para. 1 b) GDPR. The data collected in this course will be deleted after storage is no longer necessary or we will limit the processing in case statutory storage obligations apply.

Your rights

We shall be granting you the following rights regarding your personal data:

In case of a reasoned revocation, we will examine the situation and will either stop or adapt the data processing or will point out our compelling and legitimate reasons for continuing the processing.

Furthermore, you can object to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of advertising or data analysis at any time. You can inform us regarding your objection to advertising using the contact data mentioned above.

Handling of bookings

If you would like to book flights, hotels or other services via our website, the respectively requested personal data is required. This data will be transferred to the provider of the respective service, e.g. the airline, if necessary, for booking and executing the concluded contract. The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 b) GDPR.

After completion of your booking, you can track the status via login to „my bookings“. You can login on our website with your e-mail address and your reservation code. The data recorded there will be stored for concluding the booking and will be deleted after your trip.

We are obliged to store your address, payment and particular booking details for a period of ten years, in accordance with commercial and tax laws. However, we will limit the processing after a period of two years. From this time onwards, we will only store the data mandatory for performing our duties according to commercial and tax laws.

The booking process will be encrypted in order to prevent unauthorized access to your personal data, particularly payment data, by third parties.

Clicking through to other websites

Via AVIACOLLECT, you can reach websites of our partners and other companies. This is only for advertising purposes. As soon as you leave the secure AVIACOLLECT site, you will be subject to the third party’s terms and conditions as well as their privacy policy.

AVIAREPS is not responsible for the handling of personal data by those website owners. We recommend to carefully read those websites’ privacy policy regarding processing and storage of personal data, as they are not part of AVIAREPS and the conditions can differ from ours.

Transfer to third parties

We will transfer your personal data to third parties to the extent necessary for executing contracts. The legal basis for the transfer is the necessity for executing a contract according to Art. 6 Para. 1 b) GDPR. A transfer of personal data to third parties for marketing and advertising purposes will not occur without your explicit authorisation.

Server log files

With each user’s access of our website, our hosting provider will save information in a log file. These so-called log files include information regarding accessed files, status codes, time stamps and system information. This data is not personal and no conclusions to the specific person can be drawn.

Furthermore, IP addresses will be saved in log files as well. We cannot easily associate them with a particular person.

When accessing our website, we will collect the aforementioned data technically necessary for us to display our website and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis for the processing is the necessity to protect our legitimate interests according to Art. 6 Para. 1 f) GDPR.
